Rob oversees all administrative, operational and financial management of the company, as well as serving as the “face” of Naylor & Breen. TANNER ROMANO, Operations Manger and Project Manager
As Operations Manager, Tanner oversees our daily operations and plans the use of materials and human resources to meet our client’s needs. He holds a degree in Construction Management and offers over 10 years hands-on experience in all aspects of construction. He has taken the lead in promoting Green Building practices within the company. As a superintendent and project manager, Tanner has completed many projects for Naylor & Breen, often serving in both positions simultaneously.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Naylor & Breen has the distinct advantage of offering a specific Project Manager for each of its projects. The Project Manager is the main contact for the project from the signing of the contract to well past the one year warranty phase. Project Managers coordinate all subcontractors and suppliers and are involved in the monthly billing process. They attend all project meeting and work directly with the architect and customer to ensure Naylor & Breen delivers the finest finished project fit to the customer’s satisfaction.
KIM LEVINS, Project Manager
Kim has over 15 years of “hands-on” field experience in all phases of construction. She holds a degree in Architecture and has participated in several Green Building workshops. Since Kim has joined the Naylor & Breen team, she has overseen a variety of different projects, from home renovations to new construction of several commercial buildings.
GEORGE “TERRY” WHITE, Project Manager
With over 30 years in construction, Terry White has plenty of experience managing all aspects of construction from field operations to senior management. He possesses extensive knowledge and technical skills in commercial and high-end residential building design and construction. He has helped Naylor & Breen expand high quality building services with controlled growth in the construction management market.
ESTIMATING
Final cost is a vital factor to any construction project. At Naylor & Breen, we provide detailed cost analysis for all of our projects, which allows our clients to visualize exactly where their money is going and can also provide value engineering for those projects where the client needs to seek alternatives to cut cost. Our estimating department also handles quote solicitation from subcontractors, bid preparation, generating Guaranteed Maximum Price and schedule of values.
DOUG GORTON, Chief Estimator
Doug brings with him over 30 years of estimating experience in both light and heavy construction. Doug handles project estimates with great attention to detail and will work with subcontractors and suppliers to get our customers the best price to meet their needs. He also visits project location to provide the client with the most informed and accurate estimate possible.
MARCIA LERTOLA, Chief Financial Officer
As a key member of the Executive Team, Marcia plays a strategic role in the over all management of the company. She is responsible for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company, including direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, job costing, legal, and property management. Marcia provides leadership and coordination in the administrative efforts of the company and often works directly with the company’s customers in a customer service capacity.
Naylor & Breen employs a Project Coordinator to work along with the Project Managers throughout projects.
STEPHANIE GEERY, Project Coordinator
Stephanie prepares all subcontractor agreements, submittal processing and change orders and has the ability to draft contracts between general contractor and clients. Upon project completion, the Project Coordinator compiles all project information and prepares an Operation & Maintenance Manual for the client’s use.
AMANDA LOCKE, Accounts Payable Clerk
Amanda acts as custodian of corporate documents and records associated with Finance & Accounting. She processes all vendor and subcontractor billings with accurate cost coding and data entry appropriate to each project. She reconciles monthly vendor statements to guarantee receipt of all invoices and resolves any discrepancies with vendors’ accounting records. Amanda also maintains current vendor files, including subcontractor certificates of insurance and federal 1099 data.
STACY HOTTE, Human Resources Manager & Safety Coordinator
Stacy’s role is to support the needs and activities of Naylor and Breen’s employees through advocacy and communication so they have the competency, concern and commitment to serve our clients well. Her duties include payroll, employee benefits administration and safety compliance.
THOMASINA MAGOON, Director of Sales & Marketing
Thomasina is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with architects and prospective clients throughout Vermont and western New Hampshire to find and track potential projects in order to eventually acquire a larger percentage of construction management format contracts. She provides overall coordination for the bid/quote process and attends bid openings. She is also responsible for the company “brand” through Naylor & Breen’s presence on the web, marketing materials and consistent communication with a diversity of markets regarding our construction management expertise.

PETER BREEN, Retired Co-Founder
After 30 years of building, co-founder Peter Breen decided in July 2008, to step down from day-to-day operations at Naylor & Breen, and assume an advisory role in the company. Pete provides many years of experience in project management, field supervision, and technical communications. He is certainly missed throughout the company, but periodically stops to check in. We hope that you share with us our best wishes for Pete and his family.
