Converse Home – Burlington, VT

The Converse Home project consisted of renovations and additions to an existing elderly care home in Burlington, Vermont. Phase 1 consisted of the a 32,000 sq. foot addition with 18 new residential care apartments, 16 "special care" apartments and support areas. The second phase included construction of the connection between the addition and the existing building and renovations to existing apartments and common and administration areas. Window replacement, glazing, exterior painting and landscaping were also completed in Phase 2. The addition also included a new Dementia Care wing. Landscaping included the creation of a therapeutic enclosed garden specially designed for people with memory impairment.
