Jiffy Mart – Charlestown, NH

Located in Charlestown, NH, this new building replaced an aging Jiffy Mart just a few miles down the road. A small store with little parking was replaced by a 4,200SF space that is bright and accessible. Champlain Oil Company really got the most out of every square inch of the site, placing most on-site stored goods in the 784SF basement. This allowed for a well-placed building on a rather tight site while still allowing an open traffic pattern for vehicles, as well as pedestrians.

Sound, efficient, and effective pre-construction coordination was critical so that all the "pieces fit together at the end", thereby creating a user-friendly market and eatery. The space is bright and without clutter, allowing for uncongested traffic flow and community use. Both Subway and Ramuntos Pizza staffs are able to work comfortably in spacious food prep and service areas.
