Jiffy Mart – Quechee, VT

After the completion of the South Burlington Jiffy Mart Project the owners at Champlain Oil decided to experiment again with the design. A combination steel and wood frame was used for a more Adirondack style feel in the entry, application of a stone veneer on front exterior and use of a copper colored roof. At the Owners request, Naylor & Breen installed a partial basement for mechanicals and added storage. For this site it was a challenge, it was very wet and required extensive site work for proper drainage and the installation of a pumping system. Naylor & Breen completed the digging for the gas pumps, the installation of heated sidewalks outside the entry walk to melt snow and ice and again our mill shop, Hawk Hill Cabinetry & Woordwork, designed the custom wine racks and cabinetry for the deli/service areas.
