RESIDENTIAL PORTFOLIO

Private Residence – Woodstock, VT

This addition and remodel of a beautiful Woodstock home was completed in close partnership with Haynes and Garthwaite Architects. The project consisted of a large addition to an existing home on an incredibly tight site as well as the remodel of a good portion of the existing house. The combination of a tight site as well as the owners living in the home during construction required careful planning, scheduling, and orchestration by Naylor & Breen’s staff. Among many other things this project included a custom copper roof with flat lock soldered seams installed by Naylor & Breen’s in house roofing specialist, as well as a custom IPE deck and seating system to the rear of the property. One of the challenges of this project was tying into the existing stone foundation. Which required Naylor & Breen’s concrete crew to work closely with the structural engineer to design and install a one-sided, reinforced concrete retaining wall. The end result is a great project that both Naylor & Breen and the homeowners are ecstatic with. And above all else we walked away with another set of happy clients that we now refer to as friends.
