Shelburne Farms Breeding Barn

The Breeding Barn at Shelburne Farms encompassed the Historic Restoration of the exterior building envelope.  Our craftsman removed and replaced all the exterior Western Red Cedar shingles using traditional methods including asphalt vapor barrier and copper flashings. This required rebutting all the shingles, replacing deteriorated trim, custom doors and window replacements, addition of Granite entrance slabs and substantial site grading for proper drainage.  Due to the overall square footage of the siding restoration, it required multiple crews to reduce the projects duration. The type and quality of work put in place mirrored the original craftsmanship. We were fortunate to be part of such an important project to Shelburne Farms.
